I like Dropwizard because it has less magic, and the internals are a lot more approachable if you need to customize stuff. But mostly I’m just more familiar with it which is why we ended up going that way. Most people use spring and it certainly has more resources available. I think it is hard to go wrong with either one, but Spring is probably a sane default
