A modern programming language that makes developers happier.

<@U0BHS1Y07> i did not choose scala, i am just in the situation for choosing one language for my next project. I want to use statically typed language on the jvm, and there are two most modern language, scala and kotlin, i think scala has bigger community and has many frameworks(Play, akka), but kotlin doesn't. And, since it is not release 1.0, i just want to know why did kotlin user choose kotlin rather than other.. especially scala.
