Yeah, the main problem is with people not reading the channel description. Myself and several others have been pretty proactive to comment quickly on off-topic posts asking them to read the channel description and directing them elsewhere, but frankly it doesn’t seem like it’s doing anything (other than annoying people who want #android to be a general channel).

This is a legitimate problem though. It seems like I’m seeing less and less Kotlin related content in the #android channel, and people actually looking for Kotlin/Android help are posting in other channels instead (like #gradle, #coroutines, or #general) where they are less likely to get the answers they’re looking for.
