This particular person was impatient after all, they asked a question, and then asked why it was not answered, given almost no chance for someone with free time to respond. Also note, that even if just ignoring, a lot of such questions create noise and might cause people otherwise willing to engage into conversation to avoid it. Culture needs some “onboarding” to be propagated, and also need to be able to say “no” to unacceptable behavior. It of course will make some people unhappy, but we are not here to please everyone, I think.
