I've been thinking about how often #android is a mess for non Kotlin questions, but I also noticed recently there's no pinned posts in there. Would there be any merit to having a pinned post highlighting some of the other resources (SO, Android United, etc)?

I'll argue against myself - I'm not sure it would save anything, but at the very least we can now say "reference the pinned post for alternative Android resources". Just a loose suggestion but I wanted to get other thoughts on it.
