Random plug guys, in case anybody is interested. My new OReilly webcast "Reactive Python for Data Science" is open for registration. Video version is coming soon. I hope to use Kotlin ultimately for this stuff,  but I settled for Python (and Scala)  at the moment with ReactiveX.
