@kluck BroadcastReceivers do not have a lifecycle. They are instantiated, their onReceive is called and then who know what happens :)
You'll wind up with context being the Application singleton.
It would be much easier to just get hold of either the so-called global Kodein or get hold of you app's Application singleton (if you defined that one as KodeinAware).
