Hello everyone! Hatch is hiring backend developers to work on our 100% kotlin backend! Hatch is a fintech company based in SF, working to make it easier to start and manage a small business! SMBs are the lifeblood of the US economy, and there are at least 30 million in the US, all of whom need money, banking services, incorporation documents, etc. That’s where we come in — we’ve launched two products, a business line of credit and a business checking account, both of which come with better prices and protections than you’d get from Wells Fargo or Chase. Hatch is a Series A company, so you’re joining a small but really strong team!

🏢 Company: Hatch Credit 
🌎 Location: HQ in SF; remote-friendly in US + Canada (~40%+ of eng is full-time remote right now)
💼 Level: FTE mid-level (or higher); probably 3ish years experience, but that’s flexible!
🛂 Visa: Kind of — we’re happy to transfer an existing visa, but not sponsor a new application
🤝 Hiring Process: Varies slightly by team, but in general: Intro Call ➡️ 2x phone/code screen ➡️ onsite ➡️ offer
💰 Salary: depends on experience, but we pay above market rate for a Series A company
