Kiva is a 501(c)3 that helps expand financial access in underserved communities. Read more about us here. For this role, we’re looking for an engineer who is able to independently implement Android features working from product requirements and design docs. We are a very small team, and under-resourced at the moment so I am emphasizing independent for the folks that may not like that / would want to work in a more collaborative/team environment. The best fit for this role is someone who is passionate about Kiva's mission.

• Phone screen with hiring manager
• Android pair programming session (with me!) - 60m
• Algorithms/collaborative problem solving - 60m
• Project walkthrough. Tell us about or show us a project or feature that you are particularly proud  of. - 30-45m
• Product Strategy/Collaboration/UX interview with a product and/or design team member - 30-45m
