Karat is hiring *freelance software development related technical interviewers* (or rather "Interview Engineers").  This is *remote* work and can be located anywhere. although some time zones have more volume than others.

Interviewers are paid *US $100 per interview* which is an hour plus 15-30 minutes to write up a report (it will be slower for a while until you get up to speed).  You could range from a handful of interviews per week up to 30+.  There is a variety of interviewers that are doing this job, some as their "day job"  some on evenings and weekends, and anything in between.

Hours are flexible, and the job requires consistency, good technical skills, developer experience, and professionalism.    It is good if you have solid CS skills and have worked with more than one programming language.  Some roles are language or platform specific (i.e. Android w/Kotlin) and others are general where the candidate chooses their favorite language.

*The position requires Spoken and written English.*
