Right... even java/kotlin project is a "plugin", but fortunately it's built-in and more or less known to work. I'm referring to plugins that are maintained in separate repos, live in their own jars and have to be documented separately. I guess it's not black & white. But it struck me that one of the things that makes Kobalt simpler than Gradle is that batteries are mostly included
