somewhat related: i have noticed its hard to use kobalt directly without the in-project wrapper. e.g. the system installed version on arch without extra downloads. it likes to immediately download a copy to ~/.kobalt even of the same version. using the versioned jar right out of the .zip with an empty ~/.kobalt gives me "Couldn't find ~/.kobalt/wrapper/dist/kobalt-0.867/kobalt/wrapper/kobalt-0.867.jar". using kobalt-wrapper.jar out of the zip immediately downloads another copy to ~/.kobalt.
