I ran into that issue recently. I don’t remember exactly what allowed me to move forward as I ended up removing IntelliJ, reinstalling, installing Kobalt plugin, updating Kotlin to the latest (1.0.2) release, then creating a project - and that all worked. So, I got it to work, I’m just not sure what the root cause of that specific message is.
