There's one added subtlety that will only impact you if you need the build process to use that jar as well (otherwise it will use the one in

kobalt-wrapper.properties

. Most of the time you won't care but if you ever do:

export KOBALT_JAR=~/t/a.jar

and now your whole process will use that jar
