for all the time that JSR-310 took, I frankly don’t like it that much.. surely one of the most important success metrics of an API is how logical it is and how quickly it becomes second nature.. every time I touch Joda or JDK 8 Date/Time stuff, I am looking at docs, thinking most of the choices were pretty random.. the original was so bad though that Joda rode a halo for a decade.. @kirillrakhman thanks for the link! looks cool
