@cedric: concerning repositories, that wasn't the question. bintray has superior security and in some cases that matters, I had a job once where policy was only to use jcenter, so is there a way to ONLY use jcenter and prohibit maven central? I also do not see the reason to use maven central at all as jcenter is its superset.
