This is an odd regression, maybe @orangy can shed some light. Here is the fix: https://github.com/cbeust/kobalt/commit/74e65a1ef5f7a29e41aff536faccf87e337219ce Pre-RC, this was working fine but with RC,

setGroupId(groupId)

assigns the field to itself. Have some scoping rules changed?
