@cedric: afaik kobalt's syntax is very much like gradle (lots of brackets, properties flying around, etc). Have you considered having different plug able syntaxes? Like I install kobalt and import a package kobalt.syntax.gradlish or kobalt.syntax.alt2, and they use the same project model/engine , but look differently
