06/25/2016, 3:43 PMok, I did some Markdown cleanup in Dokka but really the model used for rendering is a bit of a rough fit. My latest PR patches it up to work for Markdown but it is ugly, and I think that generation of docs as a whole just needs a different model, not sure I'm up for rebuilding that part.
currently it is a combination of rendering from a document model and adhoc generation of text. Thinking it should be all document model that is then rendered to correct output. Or it is a data structure that is rendered with templates so the entire format could dramatically change instead of just the output format.
But not sure I have time to take it on now... I'll keep fixing up Markdown in the meantime and maybe another day this makes me want to come back to it.
