understood , it is something that I will have to appreciate as I go along with my kotlin adventures, and yes , its difficult to not use my old "lingo" perhaps I should say an "atttribute path" or "instance variable path" i.e. the path down an object graph, I don't like the verbosity of straight kotlin in building the UI, perhaps that's silly, on the other hand if that's my main issue then perhaps I should study how to use fxml with kotlin , since that is what I do with Groovy and the results are straightforward , with good productivity
