@melatonina understood, that was my approach with Groovy i.e. in that case I was just having too many issues upfront with GroovyFX , that I just defaulted to using Groovy to write JavaFX apps, I'll admit that I"m not yet very acquainted how to call easily Java from Kotlin , with Groovy is pretty straightforward, and I also still find JavaFX less painful that the JS alternatives
