@iari one more piece of advice...i wouldn't try to make the drawing too model-y meaning that i wouldn't try to manipulate the domain model with each move of the mouse. rather, i would concentrate on the valid geometry. i might associate a domain model object w. a shape via userData or properties for convenience however
