this is what I'm doing with my menus (they are all within the same stage) just by setting the background color to a rgba value. I basically want to recreate this look on the fragments that I open modally, if that's possible. If I can't do it with a modal fragment I will end up modifying my program to have a base stackpane probably, but I would rather not if there's a way to do it with a modal window
