Is there other frameworks which are non-pixel based? If it works with pixels, it doesn't mean it's bad. Usually the issue is an underlying system, which can't scale correctly. I don't remember any issues with JavaFX on my 4k, but Qt 5.9 and older was unable to give out of the box experience without env tweaking. Same story with WinForms (and this one is really broken).
