I've spent the last 13 years or so working on a set of systems that are primarily Swing :cry: so i'm also new to JavaFX.. and JavaFX is a good portion of why its great, but maaaan Looking at native JavaFX compared to doing it in TornadoFX :smile:

My job lately has been moving more and more to web apps with web front ends with not real thought to whether that even makese sense :X ... the services back end does, but a lot of times the web front end doesn't.  So my personal project at home to satisfy my curiosity was to make some small footprint (which is the real driving force for the web front ends to begin with) desktop apps that would use the backend services.
