Right now I'm trying to fix what WAS pretty gross styling code; the reason I'm hoping to access some colors separately from the whole stylesheet is because there's some elements of my UI that change on selection, so I'm changing the colors manually in a few places. It's not ideal, but it's way better than the hard-coding we had before 😛
