also, yeah, you can bash out an app in 2 days, but maybe it took them two hours to make the sheet. there's still orders of magnitude productivity differences between what a well trained excel user can do and what a full blown app dev can do, especially if that app dev is more interested in experimenting with ReactJS instead of just using plain old HTML like he's used to
