@edvin Thanks, it's good to know about Node.select(). I agree -- I think it was the wrong strategy. I ended up moving objects into a data structure within a model object, and am now indeed iterating through that. I'm also leveraging Properties for connectivity. I've still a bit to learn about JavaFX as TornadoFX is my first exposure. Things are coming along nicely now. 👍
