An OSGI approach to the idea of a container for desktop java applications.  <https://bitbucket.org/lorainelab/igb-fx/overview> This is the newer JavaFX based version which is not really done, but there's more info about the concept in the "classic" version of igbe (<https://bitbucket.org/lorainelab/integrated-genome-browser>), and the working app is more interesting.  In particular (in the classic version) look at Tools -&gt; Open App Manager.
