I have a long-running thread, reading a http-stream, which updates the controllers models as Platform.runLater(). But in some cases, the gui never reacts to these models change. Either the gui redraws all the modelChanges or none at all. Can a possibility be that my thread is starting to update the models before the gui is setup. How can i assure the gui is ready?
