@anidotnet I have mixed feelings about introducing new task concepts right now, considering the next logical step will be introduction of coroutines. Why don't you use this pattern in your app to see how it works for you, and then we'll talk about integrating it in the JDK9 branch after we have ported, and also introduced coroutines?
