I think most of us use IntelliJ. The programmable feature of a keyboard is important to me for portable shortcuts. I have to test on several different machines and sometimes develop on the different machines. I take the IntelliJ actions that aren't mapped to a software shortcut and make these macros. Some examples are View Database which brings up the database window, Show Git History, and Open Recent.
