When everything with the Web 2.0 started, I used no webframework, when the Web 2.0 matured I used MVC with Rails and later micro webframeworks like Sinatra. I automatically categorize web frameworks either as Rails-like or Sinatra-like, because there are like 1000 clones. It seems Wicket has a quite different concept.
