@edvin I found an interesting quirk with the plugin. This code shows the TornadoFX gutter icon on both the App and the View:

class QuickTest : App(QuickView::class) {
    class QuickView : View() {
        override val root = vbox {
            label(textfield().textProperty().stringBinding { "Hello $it" })
        }
    }
}

but it I remove some white-space like so, it isn't shown on either:

class QuickTest : App(QuickView::class) {
    class QuickView : View() {
        override val root = vbox { label(textfield().textProperty().stringBinding { "Hello $it" }) }
    }
}
