@thomasnield I hope you get through to them. Consider this: If you have to learn a new language to work with data science, picking up Kotlin is far easier than picking up Scala. If however you already know Scala, picking up Kotlin to work with data science is childsplay, almost not even worth mentioning to a seasoned data scientist (if that's even a term).. 🙂
