@edvin I'm working on a SimpleListViewTest.kt that can be a simpler version without so many layers. I'm using the prior version with the ClassCastException removed.

After fixing that error, there are two items in the list, but they're both blank. I'm adding a line for cellFormat that should give @voddan a simpler example without JavaFX binding
