As far as the replace view thing goes (I assume you mean the new ViewTransition stuff), I'm pretty sure it's ready with the possible exception of the root padding issue (but the issue existed with the original transition system, so it's not unique to the new way of doing it). I was hoping other people could mess around with it a bit and see if there were any rough edges.
