@Ruckus: Yes, but I was thinking more like the JavaMailAPI packaging. They have separate modulated packages and one that contain the api and the most common providers.
Here the case would be: separate modules and one build that will contain everything for everybody that will use most of the features.
I personally would like to use the Component packages and will always use FXML. So I don’t need anything else (asyn -> for that I use kovenant; json -> depends on the project, sometimes you don’t need it at all; di -> kodein or dagger2,…)

I do think that a single “fat package” is great for most people, because it simplifies things greatly.
