Just released a first dev-preview of gradle-kotlin-delegates@0.0.1 - a utility library for gradle plugin authors, making use of kotlin delegates to make configuration UX lazy yet convenient for the end-users. Additionally it provides delegates chaining support as well as some unique delegates for gradle/system/env properties. Give it a go!
