@jlleitschuh I think they already are as the java compiler picks them up correctly, but I'll give it another try, it does run before the kotlin compile task
@Czar yes it generates sources and then compiles them

the thing is if they weren't marked as java sources the java compiler wouldn't pick them up, which is the case. The problem is kotlin specific 😞
