So there are some plugins I worked with like the jooq plugin where the plugin takes heavy advantage of groovies duck typing system to build an XML document from groovy. That was the only plugin I couldn't convert.

Every other plugin in my build was able to be converted.
The ones that take closures GSK has some nice factories to create closures for you over types.
