Do any examples of working with a custom DSL in kotlin exist online? I'm having trouble getting a reference to my container named artifactAppender

my plugin's groovy DSL looks like this:

class ArtifactConfigurationPlugin implements Plugin<Project> {
    @Override
    void apply(Project project) {
        project.extensions.artifactAppender = project.container(ArtifactOutputs)
    }
}

How would I access the ArtifactOutpus object from kotlin build script?
