As Coroutines are light wight threads, does this mean that we do not need to create our own threads in Android for any reason? Like: 1. Calling web-service. 2. Assessing database 3. Long running computations and validations. Another question, I have gone through the doc, it has examples about
runBlocking{ }
and
GlobalScope.launch( )
only. But as standalone coroutines are deprecated what other alternatives do we have apart from GlobalScope?
