Regarding your Mutex-observation, what's the point you are trying to make?
Do you suggest that the dead-lock trap arises from hiding the implementation details? Or are you just referring to the Mutext-based model? But then you say the two models are isomorphic? Wouldn't that mean, they are equally prone to dead locks?
