Here's something about the Kotlin EAP book (p. 236, NOTE: You can’t declare a generic non-extension property)
That box really got me confused. While reading it, I wondered why Kotlin can't have regular properties of generic type.
But that's not really what you're trying to say. Just wanted to let you know that explaining that differently might make it easier to understand
