Is there a reason why `kapt3` runs soooo slowly? I just ran a build where kaptDebugKotlin task took about 12 minutes to complete
Even incremental compilation now uses well over 10 minutes  with the compiler daemon 
While running either of these tasks, my CPU consumption is usually at 100%

This happens every time I restart the IDE and try running a gradle build.

I'm using Android Studio 2.3 and running Kotlin 1.1.0 on Ubuntu Linux 16.04.
