Btw unrelated but maybe worth Sharing: we have 60ish modules and endless sync times.
We have a Gradle property that allows excluding all iOS targets.
When you use that you can also enable config cache. That and a m1max makes development blazingly fast as usually we don't need platform specific code at all.
