I think there’s a difference between considering how easy/difficult a language feature makes writing tooling, and adding features to the language to work around deficiencies in one specific tool.

But… my question was “_Apart from that_, is there a reason to switch to the new multiplatform language features?” What other benefits do the language features bring?
