My changes to/features for the Kotlin kernel got merged yesterday and the project I am using them for really works great and I will most likely release it soon. And I expect it to get various people interested in Kotlin that wouldn't have been aware of it before. It certainly got me to seriously use Kotlin for tasks I would have used Python before, and I am really starting to appreciate the advantages of Kotlin over Python, especially just for small oneliners of chained maps/filter/forEach etc
