thanks for posting! we've actually come across this before - it's nothing to do with http4k and everything to do with the configuration of the shadowJar plugin. this would also happen any project where multiple JARs defined their own META-INF contents.

TBH, we don't generally this for packaging apps - the application plugin or JIB are our go-to solutions for building artifacts from gradle. 🙃
